Milton Days are underway

If you know Ron Shupe even a little bit, you know he’s one of Milton’s most enthusiastic community champions.

Ron and the rest of the Milton Community Association work tirelessly year-round to bring people together for a wide range of events and activities. Of course it helps that Milton has one of Queens County’s best local halls, but nothing gets done without selfless volunteers operating behind the scenes.

Community associations are the lifeblood of Queens. They celebrate local heritage, host live entertainment, raise money for worthy causes and offer important programs for children, seniors and others.

Today is the launch of Milton Days and I have no doubt hundreds of volunteer hours were spent preparing for this annual six-day celebration.

Check out the schedule of events on the Milton Community Association’s Facebook page and make plans to join in the fun. You can tell them Ron sent you.

  1. Thank you for the kind words, Scott. It takes a dedicated crew of volunteers to pull off Milton Days. I certainly cannot take all the credit. We have a great team of workers who work very hard to bring the best Milton Days ever. Hope to see you there.

  2. Wishing Milton days every success, we will attending. Thanks for the efforts it shows.
